This is just another question I'm sure you all have answered, more times than you can count. But.....
I'm pretty sure this stamp is flat plate and was just wanting confirmation from the ones that can spot it as soon as they see it. So if I'm right, that's great, because it means I'm getting better and learning
But, if, by a less than 1#8453; chance it was rotary press, that would be awesome... I don't think that is the answer tho.....lol

Looks like U.S. Scott 612 rotary press with perforation 10

Hi Stephanie,

It is in fact a rotary press printing, but with the common 10-gauge perforation of rotary press sheet stamps (Scott #612). The rare rotary (#613) was created by taking waste from the rotary press and perforating it on the flat-plate sheet perforators that applied 11-gauge perforations.

Now you have an excellent example of a rotary press impression.
