How do people who collect new issues deal with this? It's easy enough to get singles for a collection when the backing paper is properly perforated, but I've noticed some issues where the backing paper of the booklet or sheet is completely imperforate or at best can be split into blocks of four. How does one deal with this? With a coil, you can at least use the stamps on either side of your chosen victim and then trim carefully. With booklets and other sheets, you can't even do that!
There are several different opinions that have all been discussed here earlier. Please use the "search" function on this forum . You will find the button on top of every page, in this case just above your question.
I have done a search and found a handful of old threads. Opinions seem to be all over the place, and it would appear that there are options. However, most of these threads are a several years old and I'm wondering what the thinking is today, after several more years dealing with self-adhesives.
Use all the stamps in the booklet but 1, then trim close to the perfs without cutting any and the stamp will go in your album or stock pages with backing intact.
If more than 1 is needed. do the same thing if a pair or block.
