Why do people talk down ebay? Let me guess, I know, ebay is full of crooks, for every one honest vendor there are 5 dishonest vendors, unless you know who to deal with someone is going to get robbed.

What well known Australian publisher of Australian stamps are you referring to, there is no-one that comes to mind that remotely resembles any-one you are speaking about.

You must be referring to the Renniks at Banksmeadow as it's the only Renniks in NSW, small world as I happen to be going there on Monday to speak to the owner as I always do when buying albums and pages.

I'll ask him about that very stamp and will show him the image to jog his memory.

Mr Stampede,

This image was posted elsewhere of some of the stamps you have for sale.

I collect (almost) only postage dues.

Would you consider separating these from the collection you have?

Thanks,

John

Hi stallzer

I use Vario clear pages and for extra protection for my stamps I also use clear hingeless mounts, I place the stamp into the mount and then into the page. This allows me to see the reverse of the stamp without taking the stamp out of the page.

Rob

I'm glad you approve, I know the person you are referring to, he is a friend of mine, my fiancée and I have known him for a long time, and I can assure you he does not have a son, and I can also assure you he will not be hesitant sharing whatever information I ask for.

Also, I checked the site you were suspended from and I noticed you have a block of 4 5/- tinted Robes that you have a catalogue price of $482 and a selling price of $483 written onto the card it is stuck to, so I can comfortably say the block of 4 is not mint unhinged, or are they glued in (wetting the gum).

Are you kidding? the catalogue price in the Australian Commonwealth Specialists' Catalogue states it is worth $150 for a mint unhinged block of 4, and the actual market value for a block of 4 (tinted paper) is $110 mint unhinged, and obviously if the block of 4 is hinged the value of both catalogue and market value will be much lower, and sticking the stamps onto the card by wetting the gum devalues the stamps less than the hinged type.

So cool if they were real but one things for sure my parakeet don't back down they might be small but they do have the temper of a wild cat sometimes.
