Last Stamp. Azad Hind India.
Full set (9) sold 2014 $12

Radnice (Czech) Radnitz (German) is a nice postal fragment, worth keeping as is.

I'd like to know the India "Barred M" cancel is that what it is?
Not aware of that letter.

Ah! found it Madras Circle.

Well, if you find them interesting, then they are worth setting aside!
Are the of interest (worth) to you? Then they are worthy.
Some of my favorite stamps are worth 25cents...

5 is Br. India 1873 ½A Vic. die II blue typograph (SG 76) which is a damn common stamp.

Even without seeing the stamp closely which is impossible given the blurry photo taken from phone camera, I can tell that it is die II because of the cancel which was introduced in 1873, the earliest recorded use in Chennai Circle is on November 13,1873.
By that time 1865 ½A die I SG 54 was gone.

Postmark: It is the barred killer part of the duplex Cooper type 32a/Renouf/Martin type 17a cancel with alphanumerical code 6/M-2 of Narasannapeta SPO, located in Narasannapeta (18.4164°N 84.0459°E) now in Shrikaulam district of Andhra Pradesh.

Code Explanation:
M is the initial of the Anglicized vertion of Chennai Circle (created on June 1,1786).

2 is the code allotted to the Head Post Office of Brahmapur (19.31496°N 84.79409°E), now located in Ganjam district of Odisha.

6 is the code allotted to the Sub Post Office of Narasannapeta which functioned under Brahmapur HPO in 1st/Vishakhapatnam Division of Chennai Circle.

Again, a lot of postmark interest in this group. The "T" on the Hungary stamp would usually mean it was used to pay postage due, but since it's slightly curled, it appears there is gum on it. If full gum, it probably was never used that way.

The two Austrian newspaper stamps on piece is interesting to me. It is cancelled Prague, which was part of Austria-Hungary and so is unremarkable by itself. I suppose the newspaper/printed matter rate in 1893 was 1 1/2kr but it's interesting to see the combination. Certainly worth just a little more than just the two separate cheap stamps.

In 1873, every postal Circle in Br. India was allotted a distinguishing code letter, mostly derived from the initial of the Circle HQ following the Indian Post Office Manual of 1873 (Chapter VIII: Stock; Section II: Stamps and Seals; Para 36; p.80) published by the infamous Frederick Rogers Hogg, Director-General of Post Office in India (1870-71, 1873-75 and 1879-87 with intermittent breaks).

Here is the official explanation of the alphanumerals used in the simplex killer part of Cooper types 32,32a&32c/Renouf/Martin types 17,17a&17b duplex cancelations in Indian Post Office Manual 1873; Chapter VIII: Stock; Section II: Stamps and Seals; pp.80-1.

3 is Azad Hind (Free India) 1943 12A+1R Breaking Chains on Map of Free India lilac purple semipostal stamp (Michel VI) where 12A was the postage and 1R charity payable to Azad Hind Government.

The Azad Hind stamps were intended for use in the territory held by the INA viz., Andaman and Nicobar Islands, primarily for the INA personnels but never reached India during the provisional Azad Hind Govt. Administration.

The set was designed by Werner and Maria von Axster-Heudtlass and printed at Reichsdruckerei, Berlin, Deutschland in photogravure and Azad Hind stamps are certainly worth keeping.

The "Azad Hind" full set consists of 21 stamps, not 9.

Here is the complete set of 21 of Azad Hind stamps (from the collection of my good friend Bijo Paul).

I am quite certain that the Fr. octagonal PAQ. postmark on 1 is of Ligne N of Marseille-Yokohama Line (1889-1933) which is also recorded used on Br. India stamps on board of Fr. packets.

Your knowledge is just breathtaking Joy. I've learned so much in just the last 10 minutes

The cancel on the Great Britain 1d red caught my eye. Does anyone know if it is a newspaper stamp?

Thank you very much Mr. Joy.
I have been after that for years. I very much enjoy deciphering my India postmarks, I have been using images from Frames displayed from a Philatelist circa 10 years ago. That inspired me.
I never had the "M"
