Comparing Harrison&Sons paper with Rolland paper turns out to be quite easy!

H&S has clearly visible grooves at the front with a certain variation as to the length of these grooves; Rolland paper has practically NO GROOVES at the front which gives it a rather smooth impression of the front surface.

This is of great help to the Parliament issue [34c, 36c] as well as to the Mammals issue [57c, 74c].

We do NOT need mr Gratton science laboratory to be sure what we have got :)

The 1952-1975 period has - for recess printed stamps by the CBN - predominantly the same type of paper and sieve structure:

The first 3 have IIIb - twill binding with the steep diagonals ascending!

However, a new type of paper was introduced in 19?? IRRESPECTIVELY of the amount of OBA's in the pulp!

See how the text comes through with the clear screening of the word "CANADA"!
