Is it the distance of the 2 c revalue stamp from the stamp image on the card?

And what is this one?

UY15 surcharge is horizontal (as yours), UY14b is Vertical (applied at 90 degree turn from this one).

UY15's surcharge is typographed in a much darker green than UY14 which was revalued by a canceling machine.

Position of the surcharge by Ticometer (cancel machine with built in counter) depends on the set up of the machine, speed of operation, and whether the cards fed smoothly or tended to slip or grab each other. Ticometer surcharges are all light green and all press printed surcharges, which are consistently placed, are dark green. See cards posted by postagedue guy above.

Thanks! I think this is a 14b, then. Scott says it is horizontal. It says 14 is vertical.
