Hello All

Below are two plate block samples.
One with color guide "lines" (not sure of the proper name ) and the other with colored "squares". In the line example, the line color match's the corresponding plate number color. ( yellow over yellow) But the colored squares in example #2 do not match the corresponding plate number (as example: the yellow square over green number).

Q#1. Why is this? Or do the markings only represent the colors used during printing?

Q#2. Which of the two samples is most desirable to collectors?

Thanks for any info.

htx

The markings do represent the plates use in printing. I think collectors collect both varieties equally
