Quick question ... which US hingeless albums for the first hundred years include spaces for all major issues including those with a capital letter such as 10A and 11A?

Scott, the Scott Platinum album certainly does but it only available used now. I managed to buy a like-new set on ebay a while back. Also, the Scott National hingeless album which is produced for Scott by Schaubek has the same coverage as the regular National album. The main difference between the two is the type of mounts. The Platinum has open top mounts whereas the Schaukek has splitback mounts.

I haven't seen the other hingeless US albums so I will leave those for others to comment upon.

I own the US hingeless album Mystic sells and it appears to have all the major issues in it.

How I wish I had upgraded to Scott Platinum. My '80s National with black mounts lacks the newer Scott changes where varieties received major issue classification. I do like the lay-flat design of the Schaubek/Scott. If there was a Scott-numbered album with clear overlay allowing front/back view that would be my choice now.

For front/back view, you're in the horribly expensive world of the Lindner or SAFE T-Bar systems.

I was not aware that the hingeless Lindner and SAFE albums were using Scott numbers. Is that a new change? As for the cost of these options, you are right, but it's still a tiny fraction of the time and cost already invested in this US classics collection.

Volume 1 of the Mystic Heirloom hingeless album doesn't have spaces for #10A or #11A. As the OP specifically mentioned these rwo issues, I doubt that the Mystic album will serve his purpose.

Any thoughts as to why some capital letter major issues have spaces in Scott-numbered albums (such as Mystic) and other major issues do not get the same treatment? Is there a list of other capital lettered classics that do not appear in albums?

Scott - sorry, I didn't mean to imply that Lindner or SAFE used catalogue numbers!
