Got back in to the hobby a couple of years ago after a 30 year layoff. I got the same album I purchased in 1984 when I started collecting, the Harris Liberty Album. I recently purchased the "Special Section C" which has Palau, Marshall Islands, Philippines, Guam, etc...but only up to 1985.
I'd like to add the pages for the Marhsall Islands, Palau, Ryukus and so forth past 1985 but can't seem to find anything anywhere.
Any suggestions?
Very much appreciate any insight.

At various times since 1985 these islands ceased being US dependencies, hence no US stamps and thus little or no updates by Harris. They issue their own. You might try to find a Year update for the Liberty Album for 1995 or 1996. They might contain updated pages for these islands.
Marshall Islands: After almost four decades under US administration as the easternmost part of the UN Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands, the Marshall Islands attained independence in 1986 under a Compact of Free Association.
Palau: Along with other Pacific Islands, Palau was made a part of the United States-governed Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands in 1947. Having voted against joining the Federated States of Micronesia in 1979, the islands gained full sovereignty in 1994 under a Compact of Free Association with the United States
Ryukyu Islands: The archipelago was returned to Japan in May, 1972. The United States was allowed to retain its military bases subject to certain limitations. |

Andyrich74,
Welcome back to the hobby. You picked the right Forum for info. With so many years having elapsed, perhaps you could just buy new albums. It'll be cheaper than buying all those supplements (if you can find them)!

Welcome back from another newly returned to the hobby … I didn't stop collecting but I'm about 10 years behind in organizing anything.
I also use Harris albums, which are now owned by Whitman Publishing. Many sources sell Harris albums, pages, and supplements but I might suggest contacting Whitman directly by phone or e-mail to ask which supplements or options best meet your needs, they should know I would think.
Being as far behind as I was I decided against buying supplements. Many here use the "Steiner Pages" (stampalbums dot com) and I have the CD (U.S. pages are free to download). However, these are formatted for a 8-1/2" x 11" page size and Harris album pages are 9" x 12" and most printers (including mine) can't handle the extra width. I can print this size at a copy shop on Harris blank pages or nicer ledger (11" x 17") paper that I cut down to 9" x 12" ahead of time for 15 cents a sheet, but I discovered that it seems tricky for the print shop staff to get the Steiner page properly centered, and I don't always want all of the album pages in a particular file. I can open a Steiner pdf file in Microsoft Publisher but it is a messy conversion and time consuming to fix the layout.
Several on the forum have talked about using the free download LibreOffice Draw program, and I think this will work great for me. The Steiner pdf opens cleanly, I change the page size to 9" x 12" and extend the boarder down. As there is now a larger page size I can sometimes get another row of stamps on a page, reducing the number of pages to print, and I can eliminate some Back of the Book pages I won't use. If I'm going to print on Harris filler pages, which have a border, I go back through and delete the boarder, otherwise I'll leave it if printing on blank sheets.
A process, yes, but it might be an option.

Thanks all! Well Oldguy, the Ryuku islands are covered as said album (part C supplement) does stop at 1972. I wonder why my album only has 1984-85 for the Marshall Islands though, seems as though it should have gone back well before that, and seems that should be the same for Palau...? That said, the link is to a plate block supplement. Am only in to singles at this point. Beautiful stamps though.
JKelley, I did buy new albums, about 2 years ago; the albums from my childhood is long gone, other than the senitmental value.
Thanks Moneil, probably going to reach out to them (Whitman,) Not much with playing around with printers and settings; would likely lead to some unnecessary profanities!
Very much appreciate the advice.

Blank or quadrille pages.
Yes, as noted above, Ryukyu Island U.S.-issued stamps ended in 1972. And so did the others at other times. |

Thanks for the reply, DrewM. Was looking for pre-printed pages; although constructing one's own album does have its appeal! Definitely like the little nuggets of information/history that come with the Harris Liberty album. |
