Was this type of stamp used for vending dispenser testing purposes? Any input on this is appreciated.

They were used at the local post offices when testing repaired vending machines and at the companies that built the machines. They came in rolls of 100, 500, 3,000, and 10,000. Also testing booklets were prepared using these same testing stamps for the same purposes when testing booklet vending machines.
