I see that Yvert has published a new edition of its "Classics" catalogue (like Scott, it has an elastic definition of "classic" to create a commercially viable proposition). Pretty competitive @ €89.

The same page also has a reduced price offer on its 1941-60 "Semi-Modernes" catalogue.

Got an email today from Yvert with that info - am considering it, particularly the semi-modernes as Scott classic stops at 1940 and I only collect up to 1960, so Scott general is overkill for my purposes (and my shelves).

Feedback from anyone who has used either of these in earlier editions?

I have these - bought in a period of solvency. Frankly, they were a bit of an indulgence for me, as I don't use them much, because most of what I need is in more specific catalogues. But they're attractive, with a reasonable level of detail. I don't know how they'd compare to Scott, which I'm not familiar with. The Semi-Modernes publications are a few years old - none if them is annually updated.
