The "Dir perc" ? stamp
is an Italian Control stamp
produced after 1915

How it was used is unknown

Here is a 1 Lire Control Stamp of mine from 1866

I found another Ecuador.
This one has the 1919-1920 overprint and what I can only assume is a misperf.
I found another pdf which contains images and it appears this unusual perf is quite common on these issues.

Four more Barcelona local revenue stamps.

And the 1 pta. stamp on a 60 pta (0.36 €) /month rent contract in Barcelona city. It was in October 1929...

Here's some Mexican revenues I have recently discovered - most are dated but any info would be useful.

Here is one you don't come across every day. Great Britain 11d Excise Revenue on a Theater Ticket, and from my understanding these were torn in half across the stamp...a ticket stub kind of thing.

Following Cursus' Spanish rent contract,
we follow up with an Australian rent contract.

Here, in 1959 Mr. Aswet paid 2d tax on a rent in
Queensland of 3 pounds per week.

David R
the picture is nice, but for ID and info
we need larger scans, try just a few at a time
not the whole box and dice.

Small scans liken it to appraising a diamond from 40 feet.
Hope that helps.

A Luxembourg telegraph, 5c, from 1883. These are a bit bigger than your typical definitive...around the size of the more-familiar Bavaria telegraphs.

Another Switzerland Consulaire, different from stampgal's 3F posted a few months (and many pages) back:

A pretty little 6d Dominica:

And we'll close out with a few examples from France:

Which goes a long way to explain that old disparaging expression 'more front than Anthony Hordern's'
