I had not been aware Scott listed these. BTW first time I have seen a "microscope" scan as well :) Interesting, has a "fish eye" distortion as well.

Hi Harry, Mr. Molnar's response, he shares our appreciation of a nice strike.
snipped: This is a nice example - I have the same cancellation on this stamp, and also other higher value Stamp Duty stamps. The stamps are not particularly scarce, but covers are quite desirable, and some are very rare, or even unknown, on cover. I'd look forward to seeing any other interesting stamps you may have.

Thanks for that Rod have had these for a few years also I do have a large collection of revenues but mainly U.S. rev's,couldn't concentrate on the Aussie rev's as well as the U.S. one at the same time,so I stopped the Aussie collection to spend more time trying to fill the U.S.one,still need a few to complete R2c,R17c,R21c,R31c,R74c,R77c,R79c and from R97c to R102c excluding the R101c so as you can see I have 12 left to collect.
regards Harry |

You dog, you. I see your shilling and raise you four more... (Yes, sadly, used this time.) I use an HP wireless scanner, 6500 series. Nothing fancy, but no wires and out of the way. Great for laptops around the house. |

Hmmm. you trumped me. Wireless scanner, interesting (for my next purchase.) 5 shilling KE7 "distributor of stamps" socked on nose. Great example of what happens to magenta in water As re-use protection, this is exactly what is supposed to happen. |

This thread needs a bump. Here is a nice pair of Cubans I picked up as a part of a small lot. Most were of this design; one was very slightly different, and perhaps I'll post it. I presume that these don't catalogue for much, but they sure are pretty... Collin |

As long as we're talking revenues...very light cancel, but it has the telltale shape, so I'm guessing revenue... |

I ditched my screen capture software "snagit" and tried a new one FREE "easy capture" It has a doohickey that inserts arrows, (not the nice bold philatelic arrow) but it will do for the time being. At least now I can point to parts of the stamp. testing...... |
