Is it a stamp or a cut out from a postcard? |

Most likely a cut-out as NSK suggested. Hard to tell without feeling the paper.

It is not from a post card. Paper is too thin. It is not card stock weight. If that helps. |

Could be from a postal note or change of address form. |

This design was never used on thin paperlike postal stationery.
There was 1 form called a Postbewijs of which I do not know the thicknes of the paper, but the "line" cancel is completely wrong.
My guess, postage stamp which has been trimmed |

Absence of any margins suggests a regular stamp with trimmed perforation. |

Not Precancels, that I am aware of. Similar to Czappa's PRECANCEL (Roller Type) |

The lower margin, at one point seems too wide to be trimmed. It doesn't show the slightest sign of a perforation. A wattermark or back of the stamp might give more information. |

I'm sorry. The image is the back of the stamp in the original posting at top. Someone remarked that more could be learned form seeing the back perhaps. Czappa52 |
