There is a recent newly published article this month April 2021 in the Canadian Philatelic Society of Great Britain (CPSGB) "Maple Leaves" (Volume 37, Number 2, Whole Number 360, pages 94-97, 100-103) "Expert Committee Analysis of Block of Canada Scott #139 with Inverted Overprint" by Garfield Portch FRPSC.

That Greene report as to all the steps they took during their analysis of the overprint is very interesting reading, somehow I missed this story before. Thanks for the links.
