Here are 6 shades, there is meant to be 7, the missing shade is the 1956 Reddish-Brown, which I should be able to locate before I reach the QEII stamps. There is not much of a difference on the screen between the dull brown and greyish-brown, but if the stamps are viewed in person there is a difference. The greyish-brown is a shade darker in the background and on the bird's feathers than in the dull brown.

Thanks, Rob041256. I have a friend who collects Australian KGVI. He told me the ACSC catalog that he uses does not come in color, and your thread has helped him greatly! (strange that an expensive catalog - you mentioned $120 - does not come in color).

Hi Prexie3c

I'm glad that my display is helping others identify stamps in their collection. The catalogue I mentioned that is valued at $120 is the new 2019 edition which is in colour, the previous ACSC that was printed in 2015 was printed in black and white. The new edition is a much larger book.
The new 2019 edition is on the right, this book is for the pre-decimal QEII stamps, the KGVI edition is the same size.
