I have run across many of these and I have no clue on even guessing where to begin to find the value or how to list them can I get some expert advice please THANKS

They are blocks of 4 stamps. A plate block of 4 would have the printing plate number in the selvege and/or tabs next to the stamps and could even include other marginal markings and color bars or dots. I hope this helps.

I think the second group might better be called blocks of six.

Tina be careful when identifying these. There are similar options.
The stamps in the top scan can have dot or lined background (or check the direction of the centre bar that goes across the instrument in the middle).They are East German official stamps from 1954 on.

The stamps on the second scan can also have dot or lined background.
These are regular postage stamps from the same era.

The cockroaches got to the 80pf value, it can now be made into a block of 5.

I have many,many of these. off the top of your head would anybody know if these are even worth much this way or would they be the same if they were broken down?

I think that they would be of more interest as blocks (of four, six, whatever) because they are seldom encountered this way. They are usually seen as singles, and CTO ones, at that; here you have true mint copies instead.
