I collect.... 1.5c Presidential (Prexie) Martha Washington (Scott #805/840/849/CZ119), Santa on stamps/seals/Cinderellas worldwide, Precancels and Perfins. Plus anything else I like. I've collected for 35 years+ but retired a couple years ago and now have lots of time to work on my collection. I feel like I'm still getting it organized.
I'm active in my Dayton Stamp Club and Precancel Stamp Society and The Perfins Club and others.

KoolAkkumulator,

Collecting for the enjoyment of collecting, whatever that might be, is the name of the game. Don't hesitate to ask questions especially if you need basic information and especially more advanced sources of information for any possible topic. You should be able to find folks on this board a little further along on their collecting journey glad to share experiences.

Russ

Welcome aboard!

I would recommend starting a new thread titled along the lines of "Show me your 1.5 cent Martha Washington Prexies, Scott 805, 840 and 849". Show a few of your own to prime the pump and you'll be amazed at what other collectors have to share here in return.

Can't help responding to "Tommtomm" - not on a philatelic topic but just to mention that my father had a business he call "Tom Tom Painting" and his slogan was "Our prices canb't be beat". - His business name= Tommy Thomson.
