I was given a whole notebook of Russian Postal Stationery related to the Sochi Games - is there any interest in seeing this? I think I could upload a piece or two and more if requested.

I was surprised to see the previous Postal Stationery topic had been locked so I could not add to it. BobbyT

How many pieces are there in the notebook? How many separate topics?

Hi Hal - there are 80 items, all different. A few are only commemorative stationery, but most include postage. No duplications.

I am just learning how to post scans. My first attempt with this material was not successful since the file was too large. I will post some once I figure out how to get the file small enough.

Best, Bobby

I just found a bunch of these listed with Hip Stamp - the un- canceled varieties they are selling at $1.90 each, and those canceled at the games are running around $3.50.

BobbyT, you should be able to open your photos with paint (assuming you have windows) and re-size images to bring down the size of the file/photo. The are other options as well, but that's a simple way to start.
