Scott 743 "First Christmas Carol" Stamps – Perforations?

If I posted this before, sorry..Old age kicking in..haha

Here is one of my Scott 743 stamp assigned a perforation of 13.3 x 13.3
Took a couple of gauge readings and came up with a perforation of
13.5 x 13.3

Also took a Scott 884 stamp with a known 13.3 x 13.3 perforation and put it up
against my Scott 743. There was a definitive difference in perforations...Just saying.

Here is the VERTICAL. perf of 13.3 which is correct.



Here is the stamp taken with a metal gauge.HORIZONTAL 13.5


Here is a known 13.3 perforation Scott {884} stamp.

You expect Scott to come up with a 0.2 difference in 1977? That's the size of the period at the end of this sentence.
