In terms of degrading a stamp, I know of no studies which outline a virus ability to degrade paper. Molds and bacteria certainly can degrade paper, but I have never seen anything about a virus impacting paper.

Just saying.


Now if you collect primates as a topic, will not say the same about monkeypox as weeping blisters could affect stamp quality, especially the no hinged ones.

The virus would not live long enough to cause damage to the paper.
