The collector had several country collections.
I bought one collection, put together by this one collector, for one country. It is a full collection that is filling much I don't have and is providing a lot of fun hours. But unusual, to me, in the diversity of mounting methods.

He used:

Scott specialty pages

Scott international pages

Steiner pages

Older yellowish stock pages.

Clear sheet protectors of various kinds and sizes

Some vario-type pages

Crystal mounts.

Cut down Glassines to mount single stamps.

Cut down dealer cards to mount stamps.

Scotch tape to hold some of the above-mentioned mountings on pages.

Showguard type mounts, Hawid type mounts, and at least one other thin kind.

Hinges, the old big green ones, the newer green ones and the modern clear ones. Understandable and expected as collection was built over time.

I think the collector picked up so much material over time that he never had time to unify the collection.

It's been interesting and a challenge to disassemble. I'm still going and expecting anything.
