Spock, Off the top of my head, I can't think of who would have had the first male on a stamp, probably GB. I definitely know it wouldn't have been Mickey Mouse even though that might be a good representative of a masculine god. I don't know how long this forum has been around, so I wouldn't know if a new design would be needed, but if one is needed, I'm game.

Tony that's a nice cove there, the registered one. Lots of cancels and the writing on it is amazingly all still visible. Quite busy but well put together.
edit: boy, I have done this more than once. I think I am posting in one thread and it appears in another thread that I also have a tab open for. Sorry. Have to do one thread at a time. |

The first males on postage stamps were surely the US 1847 5c Benjamin Franklin and 10c George Washington. |

BACK ON TRACK ?????????????
You started this by posting that used stamps are mint !
As long as you perpetrate this erroneous info I will make sure that new collectors here learn the truth about what is and is not mint.

nr trying to hijack everyone into telling them that a stamp which has not been cancelled is used and when people disagree with your wrong opinion then you start raising a fit.
stop this nonsense at once or I will be forced to complain to the admin. this has gone long enough and you have annoyed enough people. |

Clue: profile? in his case it should be I know nothing but I pretend to know everything and I will not let spock talk or have an opinion because only I know the truth. the only opinion that is right is his if someone disagrees then he gets into a fight with them It was Rod who said it takes a mature mind to politely disagree and move on. not only does he not move on but he keeps repeating the same thing again and again and wasting our time. |
