The 3 cent is the wrong perforations and is the wrong printing method to be a bluish paper. It was issued several years after the bluish papers were. Whoever told you that it is a bluish paper had no idea about stamps. |

Randy's picture is showing you what the PAPER of a bluish paper stamp looks like compared to a regular paper stamp. It does not matter if the stamp is used or mint. That picture does not do you zero good, it does you MUCH good. With all due respect It seems that maybe, just maybe, you should concentrate on the fundamentals of stamp collecting before chasing bluish papers and Chinese inverts from dodgy ebay sellers. Yes? |

I am not certain, but when one registers the country choice is up to the person registering, not based upon a verified IP address. It for me is amazing how many folks listed as being writing from the USA write USA prices as "5.67 $" or "5$" and not the correct way for US Dollars: $(then the number as dollars . cents)
Additionally just because one lists their actual location as the USA, that does not mean English is a first, second or even third language. |

Quote: There is no official language for the United States. Look it up. This has nothing to do with anything. PPG is right, the correct form to write the US Dollar is "$x.xx". If you're referring to me, English isn't my first language, but I know how to converse intelligibly in it (may parents each spoke four across several alphabets). I'm not talking about the sloppy use of phrases like "I could of" instead of the correct "I could have." I'm referring to obvious spelling errors and writing with a purpose (whether question or reply) instead of word-salad. There are a number of members on this site for whom English is obviously not a first language, yet they manage to make their intentions clear and messages well understood. |

Quote: There is no official language for the United States. Look it up. Yes, absolutely correct. However, on this forum, the majority of comments are in English, so I would assume that English is the preferred method of communication on this forum. Many non-(English is my first language) posters do a very good job of communicating in English, while others need a bit more work. The OP is one of those others. |
