Came up with a cover having a single 145 and a pair of 134's.

Difficult to identify a grill with the stamp affixed to the cover. But with a little tenacity, a scanner and access to Postmark Reveal those grills can hide but they can't evade for too long.

So, here's my real question. Is it possible that all three of these have a precancel? Is there a reference for 1870 precancels? Here's a picture captured from Postmark Reveal of the clearest post mark.

I honestly do not see a precancel, but there may be a grill visible

Not a precancel, just a normal star killer struck 3x. The killer NOT being duplexed to the town mark in this case.

The centering of all 3 stamps would indicate origin from the same pane, thus all 3 are #134, perhaps the left stamp with only a faint of partial grill.

Add: Using the PO search on Jim Forte's website, the town name in Munsonville, NH.

The grill is much more likely to be an I-grill.... almost guaranteed.

Thanks all, I'll have to take a closer look at the single. I couldn't find a hint of a grill, but I'll reinspect.

I find John Becker's observation very persuasive. All 3 stamps are likely 134 (or 134A if it is an I grill). 134 is known to exist without the grill ... but a faint or partial grill is far more likely.
