One of the best sets issued in 1962 to publicize the anti malaria campaign was issued by Tunisia on April 7, 1962. The set contains three stamps designed by Tunisian artists and engraved by French engravers:

Honoring military services, designed and engraved by Raoul Serres and issued for use in Algeria on January 4, 1953:

François Clément Maillot (1804 - 1894), a French military doctor served in Algeria, where malaria decimated the soldiers. He developed the treatment of malaria by using quinine sulfate.

Charles Louis Alphonse Laveran (1845 – 1922), a French physician who won the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1907 for his discoveries of parasitic protozoans as causative agents of infectious diseases such as malaria and trypanosomiasis.

UN anti Malaria campaign, issued by Nigeria on April 7, 1962:

First stamp shows Anopheles mosquito's larva and pupa, juvenile forms before metamorphosis into the adult life stage (see diagram of Anopheles life cycle below)

To publicize the anti Malaria campaign, Israel issued on April 30, 1962 a single stamp with a unique design: a curve shows the decrease in Malaria cases in Israel. The tip of the curve kills the Anopheles mosquito:
