Greetings everyone!
I have just purchase an imperforate Benjamin Franklin stamp that I just can't distinguish which Scott is it.
Can anybody please enlighten me on which one it?Any opinions & feedback are much appreciated, thank you. I m sorry for producing with unclear picture.



Scott 5a perhaps?

The image is quite fuzzy but the marks in "O" of "POSTAGE" looks like position 23L1L.

The stamp is Scott #9, Type IV, plate position 68L1L.

A Scott 5 would not have the recut (darker) oval over "postage'. Also, a "Scott #5" would have balls at the ends of the left and right scrolls at the bottom of the stamp.
I have found the Scott Identification Guide to US Stamps to be a very useful first resource for US stamps issued from 1847 to 1934.
