I've
inherited a couple of copies of the Lincoln Stamp Album, both fairly well populated with old stamps, revenues and labels. One is dated 1893 and has a broken spine and quite a few pages of removals, I believe the second is the "do-over" album where they were remounted along with more additions.
The collector was a lady in my family, I believe an aunt of my grandfather (he was born in 1913) who died without children, so handed her stamps to my grandfather when he was little. They've basically been sitting on shelves ever since.
I guess I just wanted to know if I was sitting on something that's interesting to the philatelic world? They're all very old, and I think there's pretty solid evidence she was buying to collect, as I found a postcard with the logo of Errington and Martins stamp importers, and I can see things like the 1897 diamond jubilee labels. Condition looks to vary a lot. Most are hinged, with a few floaters.
Anyway, here are a few examples of the better populated pages.
