It looks like the two volumes are available together as a pair. Maybe some dealers will sell each of them separately. Here is an interesting video on the Unitrade Canada stamp catalogue:

I am especially delighted to hear they split it into 2 volumes - the 2024 catalogue is cumbersome and difficult to turn pages without tearing. I normally wait at least 5 years between new catalogues (I don't actively collect modern stamps, so don't need new catalogue listings) but I'll make an exception for this one just because it's going to be easier to use.
The 2025-2026 UNITRADE catalogue is only available as a shrinkwrapped 2-volume set. The list price is $95.95 CDN and will be available at the end of August. Some dealers have started to take advanced orders.
Is Patrick Durbano the editor of both volumes or is he the editor of volume 1 and is Robin Harris the editor of volume 2? Also, would volume 1 have around 200 pages while volume 2 would have around 600 pages? Thus, volume 2 would be around 3 times thicker than volume 1. Does this mean that Unitrade may be planning/looking to include many more varieties in volume 1?
That is excellent news that Unitrade is continuing, and splitting it into 2 smaller volumes at that natural break point is very helpful. Looking forward to getting mine.
What is the point of two volumes if you cannot purchase each one individually until they hit the resale market? I would love to replace my older Unitrade catalog but it rubs me the wrong way to pay $100 for the one volume I will use while the other (modern) collects dust.
I understand that in order to not have the unwanted or less wanted child sitting in inventory you bundle it with the popular child but it seems a waste. Hopefully the publisher comes to their senses because splitting them will drive more sales.
One possible compromise is for 2 collectors to form a group of 2 , 1 purchases the 2 parts, one year, and the other, the next year 2 parts. THis way, each has a copy of the vol 1, and vol 2, every 2 years, which would meet most advanced and novice collectors needs.
The grumbles about the need to buy both books seem wide of the mark. These are not really "two volumes" - they are one integral whole split into two for convenience's sake, as with the Maury and Yvert catalogues of France.
Like the French catalogues, they're intended as one whole, split into two so they don't fall apart, as opposed to, say, the GB Specialised catalogues, which have always been published as discrete volumes.
It is still one Canada (as complete and up to date as best as possible) catalogue that has been divided into two parts (volumes) in order to try to make it more manageable and usable for convenience. Thus, they are sold together as one. However, the second volume might be around 3 times as thick as the first volume. At the moment, King Charles III Canada new issues are not enough to start to put into any third volume yet.
