Greetings,
This is an update that The Unitrade Specialized Catalogue of Canadian Stamps will be available and start to ship out September 8th. Advanced copies have been given out and our new editor Patrick Durbano will have copies at the National Postage Stamp and Coin show, Sept 6-7 in Mississauga.

We are very excited and proud to finally get this catalogue out after a stressful couple of years. We thank everyone for their support and encouragement.

Attached are the books out of the shrink wrap.

Noted a slight typo on page 43. The 2c Large Queen on laid peper is listed as looking like #23. #23 is the 1c Yellow Orange. The 2c is "green" and looks like #24. I know as I was the finder of third known copy of this stamp.

I would call that a major fail for the new 25/26 Unitrade catalogue.
Your large Queen 2c green on laid paper is the most expensive Canadian
stamp ever sold and you'd figure they should have gotten that right.

Bought the new Unitrade catalogue at a dealer at a stamp show recently. Was impressed by the two different volumes which will make things easier to handle. However, found that how both catalogues are divided was not as expected.

The cutoff for volume one was not at the end 1951 as expected but at the end of 1952. However, 1952 was not included in the beginning of volume two which was expected.

The listings for the new King Charles III period were not separately listed in volume two as such.

Also, several back of the book listings (such as postal stationery) included only in volume two had all of the earlier listings that should have been included in volume one. Some back of the book listings (such as postage dues) in volume one also had later listings as well. It would be more consistent if they were divided by their proper period dates in each volume.

While some of these listings may appear undivided for convenience, it may also discourage the separate sales of any of the two volumes separately because of how they have been differently divided and listed.

However, since this is the first time that the Unitrade catalogue has been divided into two volumes, this is just a different opinion on how to do it.

I finally bought the Unitrade catalogue today from the store, $95 CAD simply because I prefer to stick with their copyright numbering system such as i, ii, iii, etc.
Two volumes, Classics 1851-1952 (224 pages) Elizabethan 1953-2025 (642 pages) over 1400 price adjustments, spiral bound, very well presented, easy to consult.
The layout is identical to previous editions. No more than two columns, it's not compressed, and I like the spiral binding.

NewStamps, we will be setting up a correction page on our website next week. I have split up the Postal Stationery for each volume however our editor (Patrick) may have other plans for it.

We appreciate all the feedback, please feel free to email Patrick at *** Private information removed by Staff. Please do not post your address/email/phone number etc. ***
