Hello everyone!

I've been looking at these stamps for trying to detect varieties but didn't find any noted variety. But I found several details that make me wondering about things. So, I'm still beginning, so please forgive me if I ask dumb questions.

What are the green lines on the P and O of POSTAGE? It can't be a cancellation because it's the same color than the stamp. Over inking? (I don't think so) An interesting variety? Or something else?

This stamp is looking interesting. What are the brown lines near the king? Again, over inking (I don't think so) or something else?

Thank you really much for any information,

CS

The thin green line looks like an engravers slip. Not very unusual on engraved stamps.
But you are not asking about the dots in the C of Cent?

I didn't, because I thought it was over inking. What do you think it is?

Thanks for the other information!

Captain,
this closely ressemble to a misplaced entry (see #5 misplaced entry 3) from the Re-entry website. It shows the line in PO and the marks in the C,
worth looking at.

Oh nice! But as you said, these are closely looking like, but not exactly. Not sure if it is.

And what are your thoughts about the brown scratches on the half cent one?

My thoughts, the printer's shirtsleeves dragged across the freshly printed sheet while the ink was still wet. (in the direction from the upper right down towards the lower left).

And does anyone have any thoughts about this white "scratch" on the cheek?

The plate was not cleaned properly. OR she was a little-known MMA fighter who wore the scars of her battles with great pride rather than try and hide it in the name of vanity making her a woman well before her time.

rodgcam's favorite hobby is likely more jokes, not philately.

Thanks for the information.
