Yesterday I found this Netherland stamp, which I find incredibly strange... Based on its face value and perforation type, it should most likely correspond to SC#175, but 175 is red (sometimes a bit vermilion)... however, this one is yellow/orange, so it could correspond to SC#149a, but its perforations are not Syncopated A... what could be going on here? How do I classify it?

Could it be possible that it could be a Sc#182 with the wrong value?

Unless the numbers have changed, SG279.A, orange-yellow, issued in 1925.

Looks like a normal Scott 149, without any of the subletters for the perf varieties.

Strange question to start with. If there is a syncopated stamp, there is a non-syncopated original.

Another clue is the watermark. This yellow one has no watermark. The violet and red ones have a watermark.
