I originally thought this stamp was a U.S. R259. Then I got to looking around the good ol' catalogue and found some others that it might be...R221 and R245. So, I'm a little perplexed.
Without further a do, here it is...what say you?

It involves looking backwards and seeing when changes occur in design and perforations, which carry forward until notated again.
R221 is perf 10, with "Series" and "1914" in the lower ribbons.
R245 is perf 11, without any text in the lower ribbons.
R259 is perf 10, without any text in the lower ribbons.

So it doesn't see "Series" and "1914" on the ribbons and it is perf 11 so that means it's a R245. Is this correct?

Thank you, John Becker. That explanation just reset years of confusion in this old noggin. I actually get it now. I have some of these stamps, and no catalog for them. I don't have enough of them to justifying an investment on that end of stamps.
Using online sources, I have been rather confused as to what is what half the time. You just made it so simple.
My thanks.
