Just wondering if anyone can identify the cachetmaker responsible for the nice cachet on this Oregon Territory FDC. The two-color printing is all raised on the cover without having embossed the envelope in any way whatsoever:

Actually I have no less than 20 different cachets for this particular issue and virtually none have any cachetmaker's name listed.

Thanks in advance for any info.

No matches on ebay or Delcampe. Any initials hidden in the design?

None that I can see...thus the problem. As I said in my initial post, I have 20+ cacheted covers some plain and others fancy, but none have any initials or name that I can see. I guess they didn't sign their handiwork much back in the 1930's.

Thanks for the help. I searched several web sites myself and didn't come up with the exact design. I found the answer to a number of other cachetmakers that I had but not this one. Interestingly, I found a similar (not exact) replica of that cachet on a website for the Arkansas stamp (Scott #782) devoid of any of the yellow printing and, of course, no words "Oregon Territory". I guess they re-used the same basic design for a number of different issues back then. I suppose it was a lot harder to create these cachets back in the pre-PC and pre-color printer days.

With the cachetmaker's name now in hand, I came up with the attached advertising piece showing his special embossed "raised printing" cacheted envelopes for the period.
