Hi to all

I recently saw a set of the above definitives in a SG catalogue.

They listed halfpenny green, penny red, one & half penny brown, two penny orange, and two and half penny blue.

Where do the half penny orange, one & halfpenny green and two and half penny red fit in.
Any help appreciated.
Regards,
Horamakhet

Horamkhet, my Scott catalog indicates they were issued in 1950-51.

Hi tomiseksj

You are probably correct. I wonder why Gibbons is listing them as 1937-1947 definitives? (See Scan)

There are three different printings :

The first - 1937 - 1947 :
Set of 15

Then 1941 - 1942 - Lighter Backgrounds :
Set of 6

Lastly 1950 - 1952 - New Colours :
Set of 6

If I remember correctly, the lighter shades were caused partly by using less ink in the printing process due to war-time shortages.
