I'm guessing this has been covered in another topic but I was wondering if someone could tell me where to find values on USPS Postal Cards?

I dont collect them (yet) but came across some in a lot of covers I recently purchased. They appear to be from around the 1950'2 thru the early 1980's.

Just curious as I could seem to find them as a section in my Scott catalog.

Thanks as always!

BT

BT, they are listed in the Scott Specialized Catalogue of US Stamps and Covers.

Although this list doesn't have many illustrations, it may help you identify some of your US postal cards. Just keep in mind that values listed are retail and generally higher than even the Scott catalog uses, so you have to take it all into consideration:

Also, if you prefer not to purchase a Scott Specialized Catalog due to cost, the USPS has a Postal Service Guide to US Stamps that includes postal card listings, although not as detailed as that shown in the Scott catalog. It is usually available at larger post offices for $20 or you can order it on-line.

Tagging onto ACANALIZO's comment: you won't believe what you'll get for your $13 for that eCat. Every US postal card described in detail with a color illustration for each.

Best an most extensive reference is the United Postal Stationery Society (UPSS). They have a down-loadable ePublication catalog at
