Your question is a bit confusing since you post a quartet of different stamps.
I will try to answer !
The Scott catalog lists the following departments that issued "Official Stamps" (stamps that could be used for postage) : Agriculture, Executive, Interior, Justice, Navy, Post Office, State, Treasury and War.
The stamps that you pictured are mainly revenue stamps, not postage stamps. Except for the last stamp; it is a regular postage stamp!

There are only Executive, legislative and judicial. Are you really asking which departments and bureaus under those branches have issued stamps for some purpose? The best way to learn about the stamps or postal history of any country is to buy a detailed catalog and study it. Your public library probably has a set of the Scott catalogs including the US Specialized.

Not really sure of your question Newfie, but currently there is only one branch of the U.S. government that issues stamps, currently called The United States Postal Service.
Back in 1873 to 1884 there was an experiment carried out wherein Nine branches of the U.S. government all had varing amounts of stamps. They were;
Agriculture....9 values (stamps)
Executive......5 values
Interior......10 values
Justice.......10 values
Navy..........11 values
Post Office...10 values
State.........15 values..this department had $2, $5, $10, & $20 stamps
Treasury......11 values
War...........11 values... for a total of 92 different stamps.
To give you some idea of what they looked like, below are all nine 1 cent values. I used card proofs for this explanation, mostly because the Official spamps I collect are used, and sometimes harder to see clearly. I also colloect the proofs, as you can see.

Newfie:

I have a few of the Official stamps, but not as many as I'd like. To me they really are interesting. Some portray very familiar historical faces, but some have lesser-known characters.

Newfie, Your original post illustrated 3 revenue stamps and 1 postage stamp. The most recent asnwers are about Official stamps. Can you re-state your question to give us some direction?

I love the stamp designs of the various US government departments commonly referred to as "Officials".
This group in the US is also commonly included as "BOB" (or Back of Book). Along with US "Revenues" these are some
of my favorites.

When I began collecting stamps I was amazed by the beautiful British Commonwealth colonial issues. However, I did not
realize that there were British governmental "departments" that issued stamps.
