Thank you Denisrbm, it is now clear that the round mark is a single, simple, solid dot. How it got there is the next problem. Layout dot perhaps? Still waiting for a corroborating example.
There's really nothing to certify that way. You have a minor variety. It may be of interest to a specialist, but only as one more variety to notice. This is not in the same class as a "new discovery." There are very few people who collect such varieties and could tell if it has been recognized before or not.
However, if finding such things is of interest to you, you could build an entire collection from a study of relief and transfer varieties of the 2c of 1890.
