(Dung?) beetles rolling a "ball" bearing the emblem of the Korea Junior Chamber of Commerce, designed by Lee Keun-moon, printed by photogravure, and issued by (South) Korea on March 19, 1972 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the founding of the KJC, Scott No. 813, SG No. 992.

Koziorozec apparently translates to "goat" or "Capricorn" so perhaps it is part of an astrology stamp set.

I could see the dung beetle being a sign of industry, but I would much prefer the beehive.

You're right! Actually I was so interested in these seemingly cryptic designs for the Zodiac, that I found a website where I was able to download all of the Zodiac Stamps of Poland for 1996, as shown below. Only a very few are readily recognizable by the design. I wonder how many can identify what the others are supposed to depict?

The astrological ancient glyphs or symbols on the tops of the stamps above are used to identify the different signs of the zodiac.

Aries is the ram or male sheep and moves through life by taking his/her strength from deep inside themselves and butting it or pushing their own force outwards everywhere.

Taurus is the bull or male cattle, stubborn, full face meaning they show the world what they have and they are very direct with what they are doing in life.

Virgo is in contact wioth the Earth and sensitive to everything about it, being outwardly in contact with earthly things but inwardly seeking.

Etcetera . . .

A combinmation of how you show yourself to the other people I your life and your inward ways also.

I've loved that cancer, the crab, one since the first time I saw it.

ETA: And no, I'm not a cancer. I'm a gemini, as are my multiple personalities.

English uses zodiac names of Latin origin, but many other languages (like Polish) use names within their own language. I don't speak any Polish, but in German the word used for Aquarius is Wassermann, or Water Man. Thus the plumber in a bunch of trouble!

Notice that there is another guy peeping through the keyhole from the other side.
