Wert - as everyone as taken a shot at almost everything..........I'll add my 2 cents Canadian and suggest the date protocol should be day - month - year (AKA the only sensible date protocol, except for the reverse - also sensible). :]

From the ISO 8601 (International standards Organisation), the standard time and date format is: YYYY/MM/DD

The UK and most Commonwealth countries, along with airlines use day, month, year. Canada now uses principally year, month, day, but alongside some usage of day, month, year. All very confusing. Personally day, month, year appeals to me as the most logical form, and dates are only subject to misinterpretation when written out wholly in numerals. The trouble with standards organisations is that they are rarely international, let alone universal in use. The ISO is a voluntary organisation, is not an authority, and has been subject to criticism on various matters, notably the cost of applications approval, and the lengthy and different approval processes. The only universal adoption that worked is the use of English as the language of the air. .Just as well.

Terence Collins..Interesting...The only problem I have putting the full date as opposed to just the year is the standard yy/mm//dd...or mm/dd/yy..Cause if it is 12/11/2014...is that December 11th, or is it 12th of November...Do you see what I mean, thats why I was just going to put the year..You cant screw that up.

Hi wert,

Why not use 12 Nov 2014. Takes up the same space as 12/11/2014. This is unambiguous and looks better typographically as well. Stunning work on your pages.

Gilles le timbre: Thank you! I've been using what I've always thought of as the Japanese style, because they were the first I ever knew who used year-month-day, but an ISO standard? What a gift!

Feet & inches, meters & millimeters, pounds & ounces, liters & milliliters ... how is anything other than years & months & days a sensible order?

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey

Looks great now wert and I agree with Terry a short description of each stamp. Terry said " add a little historical information for the stamps, but make it short and succinct." would make the pages perfect

Hi wert,

Your page design is far better than the commercially available stuff I have seen. With the big plus of being able to choose your preferred paper to print out on. If you are agreeable I would like a set of your Provinces page designs too.

Terry
PS. I may have missed it, but what page size are you working to. TC.
