Robi13, you should really get yourself some catalogues and do this leg work yourself. You'll learn a lot more that way.

Depending on where you are, you can borrow them from the library. That's where I get a lot of mine. When I'm done, I bring them back.

Or you can always by an out of date set at reduced prices. I'm still working with a 2003 Scotts set, and it does me just fine.

I'm with James, I'm still using 2009 and since I'm not a dealer I don't need updated pricing. I basically use mine for identification and since I don't collect past 1940 it's not like I'm missing new issues.

Yep, I buy a used Scotts WW set about every decade. I use the catalogs for ID, not price or value. If I want price or value, I check out ebay sales or auction results.

Library in my town doesn't have such literature, but I have agreed with someone a possibility to share the catalog. I hope I'll have it by end of next week.

Thank you

Keep an eye out for libraries selling old stock - my library replaces their catalogues every few years or so, which is how I ended up with my full set of 2007 SG @ 50p each.
