Yes I'm supportive, I support the association that publish the book. And actually I answer you , they are worthless, so where is the need to fill 3 or 4 pages of info about it ?

Hold your Horses area66, I think you misunderstood my reply... it was a thank you reply, so I don't understand why you're now so offensive.

Not all stamps above are revenues . It is nice to have references books but not everybody could have the 250 books you need to be a worldwide collector with all the different catalogs and all the source books needed for revenues . So maybe someone can explain what revenues are shown here .

Floortrader,
The OP is going back and adding images to the original post. This then makes the other posts, like area66's, seem incorrect.

Don, I have asked him on several occasions not to do that, to no avail.

floortrader , if the op intend to collect Hungarian and Austrian revenues ( they go together for a certain period, but I don't see Austrian for now ) ) I will not pass hours to try to ID his stamps, especially with someone who expect to have only the most expensive one, they have too many varieties. First of all, many are still on paper. Very usefully too check watermark The one not revenues are in Scott classic, is that too much to ask someone to have at least 1 book ?

I don't know why he is interested in the 5 and 7 kr, they are the one with less value , 10 and 30 ft so its translate in 4 and 10 cents US of course it can reach a huge 90 ft ( 30 cents ) , depending on the water mark

This what I like of those revenues, some are very challenging to ID ( Austrian ) and they cost nothing, so plenty of hours for very few $$$$

To help to ID he need to see how look the watermark, it will be against the copyright to post the scan of them here and I'm pretty sure he can't give us an image showing the water mark.

You misunderstood the question .......most readers here didn't want each stamp identified to type such as watermark ,perforation or paper type . What I wanted to know was it a document stamp ,a tax on goods or a service tax stamp . As I understand it they had a single stamp covering all the various taxes . So to collect these stamps you collected by first series or second series all listed by date of issue and then broken down types .It would be good to tell collectors that some of these revenue stamps were used as postage due stamp and could be classified in regular catalogs as postage dues. Just a general describtion is helpful.

Well you should read his other posts , he always want us to tell him he found a rare stamp and he his never happy with our reply. He like to quote English so here one for him

"beggars are not choosers"

"Get this book, I have it , they are all there, they are revenue stamps. so you need a specialise book "

and what is the problem with my suggestion of book? I have it and completely satisfy. And it's true, since they are revenues you need a specialise catalogue, they are not in Scot and Michel
