This stamp currently being sold (by one of EBays biggest sellers) looks more like a trimmed #18 TI, from Plate 12. Stamp is being sold as a #6.

What do you think?

Secret mark in the border on the left side with full plume lower left....can only be Type I....

Definitely Ty I, and you can even see where its been trimmed, where there were perf holes - and still barely are. Good catch.

This seller is one from whom you can get good buys but you also have to keep your eyes open at all times (as in this case).

Do not need to see where the perf holes may or may not be. The secret mark in left oval only came on perforated stamps and die proofs which this is not.
