This franklin 1 c has perforations 11 on all sides, like the Scott 552, but the color is not deep green including does not have the speckles in the back like a flat plate It is just solid green with wave line cancellation in front. I am aware that franklin 1c's have different colors, but the 594 and 596 are scarce and hardly found.
Can someone please inform me what they believe the Scott # for this stamp?

Scott 632 trimmed at the bottom. Why would anyone perforate an imperf Scott 575 except to make a bogus imperf between pair?

Thank you for your observation comments. Will help to distinguish other franklins in the loose collection.

575 could have a large enough design for a fake 594 or 596, could it not? Or is my limited knowledge shinning through?

The stamp is not perf 11, that's why it's not reperforated 11.

Scott 594 and 578 were perforated coil waste of Scott 597. Rotary coils are wider than flat plate sheet stamps. Scott 596 is perf 11 sheet waste from Scott 581, normally perf 10. Rotary press sheet stamps are taller than flat plate sheet stamps. Hence, adding perforations to a 575 would not be convincing because the stamp design would be too small.
