if you notice the stamps are from the same date, and likely from the same letter.

Sorsh, isnt it simply two scans of the same stamp..... one rotated to allow the postmark being seen upright?

Rod, very nice TPO postmark

haha, you're right, that never occured to me, it's not rare to see stamps put aside, one upright one sideways.. but the bent corner perf makes it certain you're right :)

those PKXP cancels are railway cancels, and they're abundant.

Thanks Guys...
That was my guess, nice to have confirmed.

Any ideas what the Letters signify? Any ideas of routing?

(Would like to make an album page)

Sweden
QSL Card
QSL card derived its name from the Q code "QSL". A Q code message can stand for a statement or a question (when the code is followed by a question mark). In this case, 'QSL?' (note the question mark) means "Do you confirm receipt of my transmission?" while 'QSL' (without a question mark) means "I confirm receipt of your transmission.".

Rod, for your TPO query, check out this site :http://tpo-seapost.org.uk/tpo2/tpsweden.html

Any given train coach number is not necessarily fixed to one route. I cannot find any WEB resource with list of the TPO coaches/routes, but I hope someone more experienced can. I found another PKXP no. 34, on a letter postmarked in Stockholm and addressed for Ystad, which would give an indication, at least for the coach whereabouts for that particular day...

The letters PKXP stands for 'postkupeexpidition' (Swedish), so something like 'mailcoach expedited', what we normally refer to as TPO / ambulant mail.

the town you're looking for on that slightly damaged stamp is Wäsby¨, which, as I understand it, is later called Väsby, and then later still Väsby Uppland.. it is in Stockholm county, eastern part of sweden.

Nicely handled Sir, only gentlemen reserve their criticism.
Frankly, I never saw damaged, just an interesting Postmark
I just love stamps, in all their conditions, esp if they tell a story.

Thanks for the Catalogue ID, Swedish Pmks do tempt one,
they look so attractive.
