Question About Newfoundland Perfin A11

In the perfin handbook, Newfoundland stamp no. 139 is listed as having an A11 (AYRE) perfin. They also list 139i as having this perfin. I cannot find a 139i anywhere. Does anyone know what the variety means? Is it a color difference, perforation, etc?

I believe this stamp comes in 2 colors

Dark Violet
Purple

Some more fun details on this stamp:

Part of the 1923-24 "Pictorial" issue, most were from photographs by noted photographer Professor Holloway. This also was NFLD's first stamp booklet--per Walsh NSSC. There were advertisements--including Ayre & Sons.

This 10cent stamp is of the Humber River Canyon, and many were issued 760,000.

There was a violet variety
Also a purple variety (hard to distinguish between the two in my opinion)
Also Walsh lists both a laid paper and imperforate variety
