In examining this stamp I found what looks like a "chunk" of what I think is solid ink on the lower right side of the image. Under the microscope it looks like it is thicker than the normal pigment. Could this be part of the original printing (fell off the plate)? Can this chunk help in identifying the color type? (again, I am fantacizing of a 64a)

It (the chunk) has the color of wax used for letter seals.

It almost certainly is a flake of wax from a wax seal.
