Great stuff, rev...any duplicates of any of the foregoing would find a welcome home...

If anyone is curious about the Argentine "ladies of the evening" stamps from Rosario, the Con Regla handstamp indicated it was that time of the month...otherwise, the handstamp was Sana for "all clear."

My first-issue Grenada is so poorly centered it is almost interesting...almost:

This pair is slightly more interesting:

Collin, Their is also a marking on the Rosario stamps that meant that she was infected. However they are VERY RARE. Off the top of my head I can't remember what it is.

I have minimal interest in WW Revenues so most of them are available.

A few more Caribbean revenues...

A Jamaica Judicial to accompany the two that were posted last week, this one with a court cancel from 1912:

A probable postal use, probably from Falmouth...

Trinidad (though I don't know the fee it paid):

Nearly Caribbean...

This must have paid a court fee, too. They seem to be the most-common British Guiana revenues I run across. The ring with "Summary Jurisdiction - British Guiana" is pretty rough...I wonder what might be the story of the printing of these?

Here are a few modern revenues from Guatemala. These are perforated FISCAL and frequently used to authenticate a photocopy of just about any document such as passports, automobile registration, diplomas, etc. They are overprinted with the year of use in a different number font.

The following notarized an original document, and in this example rubber stamped and punched with a keyhole shape.

Marty-

If you didn't know it, your middle revenue looks like it could be from 1892, with the 8 and the 9 transposed...quite a contrast to the 1980, with its juxtaposition of old-fashioned stamp and modern font. Those are neat...are they plentiful for collectors, or do they usually stay attached to their underlying documents?

rev-

I think the "sick" handstamp was "Enferma" or "Inferma" though I've never seen one. There is a museum in Argentina with a website that touches on these stamps, and they claim there is yet a fourth handstamp, for "Emptied." I'd neither seen nor heard of a fourth one before seeing that site.

In my Amedialuz project, I included a short note about the Ladies of the Night stamps of the turn of the century. The information is not very extensive because the amedialuz project was never intended to be philatelic. These stamps were affectionately called sellos-putas among the Argentinian porteño class particularly in BsAs. Which is rather strange because to the best of my knowledge such a sanitary program as that of Rosario never officially existed in the Federal District of BsAs. Here it is:
