the first picture shown is a 1 baht Waterlow & Sons stamp. IF you can tell me the perforation I can even tell you when it was issued. These stamps were used for some 50 years! Waterlow has 3 different versions letters in the left of the top.. These letters can not be used to distinguish between Waterlow and Giesecke prints.
The second stamp shown is a Giesecke 1 baht stamp from 1915

During the WWII years, Thailand printed locally their own court fee stamps. Collecting those is a challenge. Due to ink and paper supply constraints, these war time stamps are printed in a variety of papers, thick, thin, smooth, coarse and there are multiple shades in each value. The shades are more challenging because many of the inks used were not stable against fading or discoloration.

I think this thread is a good place to show the way to identify the various Thailand Siam Erawan court fee stamps.IN above posts there are already pictures showing the Giesecke DeVrient and Waterlow issued stamps.

Erawan stamps were used in Thailand from 1915-1983. For the unexperienced eye all these stamps look similar. However some 20 years ago, I did an extensive study to unravel the mysteries and confusion surrounding these Erawan court fee stamps.

There were 4 different printers used, Giesecke de Vrient from Germany, Waterlow, Bradburi and Thomas DeLa Rue from the UK. Each printer has some unique features in the design. In addition 1 printer can have various perforations, various kind of papers and various shades of color. The pictures below do not show all the shades and papers used.
The 5th printer, local printer in Thailand during 1942-1947 did printed also Court fee stamps, however these stamps do not have a Erawan 3 headed elephant as the design but a standing lady of Justice with scales. These stamps are already shown just above this post.
