I have documented the top block as scott 610. But can not find much of any information regarding plate A.E.F.. Does anyone know about these plates?
Thanks in advance.

These are the initials of workers on the plate (sideographers and/or plate finishers)

Curious. Does this change the overall value?

It may have added a bit of interest to collectors however the "block" is separated so the value is gone.

PS: Those corner photo mounts may be damaging your stamps.

AEF = Albert E. Fisher, a siderographer
(U.S. Specialist, February 1969, page 67)

This is the last of a 5-part series, and there are some follow-up articles, some with extensive biographical profiles.

They are not as well-known or as sought-after as the corresponding plate blocks, but can be harder to find.

I will have to take them out of the original stamp corner holders to assess. That's the way they placed them in the catalogues either hinged of corner holders.
